Honeycomb Shawl

I have finally published my pattern for the Honeycomb Shawl.

This shawl took me forever to write the pattern.
I'm not sure why really because it is a pretty simple design.  But I foolishly did not write many notes as i crocheted, which I am always guilty of doing.  I start off really well but then get carried away in the making and get to the end a realise I have a mammoth task to figure out my stitches and write the pattern.

Hey Ho here it is,  and It probably wouldn't be published if not for the help of some fantastic testers. They encouraged me when I just wanted to shelve the whole pattern.  So thank you guys. 💖

This shawl is made from fingering weight yarn and it has pretty stitches that resemble a honeycomb, I think the colour inspired the name too, and if I am totally honest I didn't think up the name, one of my instagram followers did.
It has decreasing and increasing to give it a bias construction and I love how it drapes.

Apologies for my old lady face 😜

Here are a few more pictures for you.

I have currently got a few WIP's I have a blanket on the go from Stylecraft yarns, a Mochilla bag, and a Hodded Cardigan in Paintbox Cotton Aran which I am really enjoying doing as it is my first attempt at Tunisian crochet and I am loving it.  Although I did do quite a lot of the back and then found it was coming up too small and had to start again !  Yikes !  never mind its a learning curve, and it filled my time sat by the sea in Cornwall.

I will leave you with a little sneak preview of it,

Thanks for visiting my Blog xxxx
